Tanzania offers some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife experiences, from the Serengeti’s Great Migration to the Ngorongoro Crater. Most visitors fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha, the gateway to the Northern Circuit.
The Northern Circuit
A classic route links Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Five to eight days is ideal.
The southern and western parks
Ruaha and Nyerere are wild and remote, with boat and walking safaris. Mahale and Katavi are for true explorers.
Beach and mountain
Finish on Zanzibar, or climb Kilimanjaro before your safari.
Practicalities
Most nationalities need a visa, available as an e-visa. Park fees in Tanzania are relatively high but are included in our prices.
