Overview
Lake Mburo is the closest savanna park to Entebbe and Kampala and a perfect short safari. Its acacia woodland and grassland support zebra, eland, impala, giraffe and buffalo, and because there are no elephants or lions, you can explore on foot, by bike or even on horseback.
A boat trip on the lake brings close encounters with hippos and crocodiles, and a stop at the Equator on the way adds a fun photo opportunity.

Day 1:
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake MburoYour guide collects you from your hotel in Entebbe in the morning for the drive to Lake Mburo (about 4 hours). After lunch, enjoy a game drive among zebra, impala and eland, followed by a boat trip on the lake to see hippos and waterbirds at sunset.

Day 2:
Walking & Horseback Safari
Lake MburoSet out on a guided walking safari across the grasslands at dawn, or explore on horseback among zebra and giraffe. The afternoon is free before an optional night drive in search of leopard and bush babies.

Day 3:
Lake Mburo to Entebbe
Lake MburoAfter an early game drive or a relaxed breakfast, travel back to Entebbe (about 4 hours), with a lunch stop on the way. On arrival you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport or your hotel.
